Mit revolution\u00e4ren Ideen und Entw\u00fcrfen trug das Bauhaus von 1919 bis 1933 zu einer neuen, modernen Vorstellung des Wohnens bei und pr\u00e4gte damit die M\u00f6belgestaltung und Innenarchitektur des 20. Jahrhunderts entscheidend.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Sie wollten die Welt ver\u00e4ndern, Labor sein f\u00fcr ein besseres Leben, w\u00fcnschten sich eine \u201eneue Einheit\u201c von Architektur, Design, Malerei und Kunstgewerbe\u00a0 \u2212 Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts markierte das Bauhaus die gro\u00dfe Wende in Architektur und Design. Die kleine, abgelegene Kunstschule, gegr\u00fcndet 1919 in Weimar von Walter Gropius, 1925 umgezogen nach Dessau, 1933 geschlossen, weil Hitler die Ideen der Bauh\u00e4usler dekadent und scheu\u00dflich fand und in der Schule eine kommunistische Keimzelle vermutete, hatte nur 14 Jahre Bestand, und ist doch nach wie vor so stark und einflussreich wie kaum eine andere Lehrst\u00e4tte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Einen Gegenentwurf zum Historismus<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mit seiner schlichten, einfachen Formensprache bildete der Bauhausstil einen Gegenentwurf zur ornamentalen Verspieltheit des Historismus, die im Rahmen der industriellen Produktion kaum noch realisierbar war, und l\u00f6ste damit eine gestalterische Revolution aus. Die Form richtete sich nun nicht mehr rein nach \u00e4sthetischem Empfinden, sondern folgte stattdessen der Pr\u00e4misse der Funktion:<\/span><\/p>\n

Ein\u00a0Ding\u00a0ist bestimmt durch sein\u00a0Wesen. Um es so zu gestalten, dass es richtig funktioniert \u2013 ein Gef\u00e4\u00df, ein Stuhl, ein Haus \u2013, muss sein Wesen zuerst erforscht werden; denn es soll seinem\u00a0Zweck\u00a0vollendet dienen, d.h. seine Funktion praktisch erf\u00fcllen, haltbar, billig und \u201asch\u00f6n\u2018 sein.\u00a0Grunds\u00e4tze der Bauhausproduktion. Klassische Bauhaus-Stilmerkmale<\/span><\/h2>\n

Einfache Geometrien, die Beschr\u00e4nkung auf das Grundfarbenspektrum in Kombination mit Schwarz, Grau und Wei\u00df und die Verwendung neuer Materialien, wie z. B. Stahlrohr, sind klassische Bauhaus-Stilmerkmale. Die funktionsorientierte Gestaltung wurde als Mittel zur Optimierung der industriellen Fertigung zugunsten bezahlbarer Produkte begriffen. \u201eVolksbedarf statt Luxusbedarf\u201c, forderte Bauhaus-Gr\u00fcnder Walter Gropius. Die neuen M\u00f6bel und hellen Bauwerke sollten der Arbeiterklasse eine moderne Lebenseinstellung vermitteln. Erstmals umgesetzt wurden diese Vorstellungen mit der Ausstellung des Musterhauses \u201eam Horn\u201c: Fu\u00dfleisten und Fensterb\u00e4nke waren aus schwarzem Opakglas gefertigt, jedes M\u00f6belst\u00fcck hatte man in den Bauhaus-Werkst\u00e4tten eigens entworfen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Organisation von Lebensvorg\u00e4ngen<\/span><\/h2>\n

Das traditionelle Sofa war einer Sitzbank ohne Lehne gewichen, der Wohnzimmerschrank einer gl\u00e4sernen Eckvitrine, im Kinderzimmer gab es bunte, bewegliche M\u00f6bel und die K\u00fcche war die erste moderne Arbeitsk\u00fcche in Deutschland. Das \u201eHaus am Horn\u201c ersetzte die f\u00fcr das B\u00fcrgertum so wichtige Repr\u00e4sentation und Behaglichkeit durch Wohn\u00f6konomie. Ein zentraler Punkt war dabei die Neuordnung nach Funktionsabl\u00e4ufen, die \u201eOrganisation von Lebensvorg\u00e4ngen\u201c (W. Gropius), mit der man das Wohnen standardisieren und rationalisieren wollte. Zum Symbol dieses neuen Wohnens wurden die metallisch gl\u00e4nzenden Stahlrohrm\u00f6bel von Marcel Breuer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Von kritischen Zeitgenossen oft als \u201eSitzmaschinen\u201c geschm\u00e4ht, geh\u00f6ren Sie heute zusammen mit den M\u00f6bel- und Produktentw\u00fcrfen von Mart Stam, Charles und Ray Eames, Mies van der Rohe und Wilhelm Wagenfeld zu den Design-Klassikern des Bauhauses. Der \u201eBarcelona Chair\u201c, der \u201eStahlclubsessel B3\u201c, die Wagenfeld-Tischleuchte oder Marianne Brandts Teeservice bereichern jedes Wohn- und Gestaltungskonzept mit ihrem zeitlos-pr\u00e4gnanten Formenkanon.<\/span><\/p>\n
